I’m always finding ways to create from just stitched thread. Creating forms to embellish garments ties right back to my fashion design background.
Some forms are inspired by thread colour and then stitching away without a plan which leads to abstract shapes. While other forms are definitely inspired by seed pods and the ocean. A lot of my wearable art is all silk thread, which is then hand dyed.
